Wedding Party
Natalie - Matron of Honor
Oh my NAT-A-LEE! There was no question she would be my maid of honor. Some of our best moments started in middle school and high school. Whether it was walking to class or riding with the top down, we were the loudest in the halls and the loudest in the streets singing Trey Songz from the top of our lungs. As we got older we started to naturally drift away from each other because life but somehow managed to always keep up with each other. Now let’s face it, dating her little brother was never part of the plan but I do know that she is thankful and grateful that we chose each other. And now no matter what, we’re family and friends forever.
Savannah - Maid of Honor
My Savanita! There was absolutely no way I could say I do without her. I literally have the best memories growing up with her from telling everyone we’re cousins to our Montebello Indian cheer days to our backyard parties she hosted at her Nana’s house. Still til this day, she makes me laugh with everything she says in the best way possible and has always been such a bright light in my life. Thank you for being my sweet Savanita that I can always count on.
Kimberly - Bridesmaid
No way would I be able to tie the knot without my best cousin, Kim. She was always my built-in bestie and I made sure to always let her know by punching or wrestling her, ha! I will never forget our Pic-N-Save dates with our grandma Gracie when we used to run through clothing racks and make fun of our grandmas Bongo jeans and fluffy hair. We laughed, we cried and got into our fights but always ended up laughing our way through everything. She has the perfect amount of silliness to offset my seriousness so I’ve always been thankful for that. And how could I forget the best thing she’s given me, my godson of my dreams. They will forever be so special to me.
Amber - Bridesmaid
Amber, my Capricorn twin! There’s no one else I’d rather butt heads with because we are so similar. I love how that we honestly don’t have to say much sometimes but we know exactly what we’re thinking. She may not know but I often look up to her and her parenting ways. She’s the cool mom yet the strict mom that gets the respect that she deserves. I hope to be the same with my children, she does it all. Thank you for being the best bonus cousin I can ask for!
Alex - Bridesmaid
My bestie gal! Who knew us supporting the same small businesses would bring us together? Long story short, Eric & I pulled up to bww wearing one of our favorite brand tees, she spotted it & the rest was history. She quickly became someone that I could turn to if anything happened. From birthdays to our engagement and everything in between, she’s been supportive since day one. I can genuinely say that we can be ourselves and laugh our hearts out all while crying via FaceTime. She holds a special place in not only mine but Eric’s life too, so we knew she’d be an essential part to our bridal party.
Lanaya - Bridesmaid
My girl Lanaya! I first met her at Spin Lounge while her mom was going out with my boss, ha! I then found out she was my dad’s long time friends daughter and ever since then I knew we’d be stuck forever. She’s a girly pop that I can count on and I know I couldn’t say yes without her. She’s drama free, the sweetest gal and one of the best mamas I know. If I become half the mama she is to Jaxon, I know she taught me well and look forward to doing the same with my future family.
Gabrielle - Bridesmaid
My little sister that I never had! Growing up Gabrielle was always the most lovable and smarty pants little sister of the family. Now she’s all grown up (still the smartest in the family) and hanging out with us doing what grown folks do because she's no longer the "baby sister". Where does the time go? But seriously growing up with only brothers, I had always prayed for a little sister and now I have her - I'm so thankful. Also, she gained a bonus sister to always protect her.
Michael - Best Man
I chose Michael to be my Best man for a few reasons. One of those reasons being he is one of my longest childhood friends. We have been through many stages of life together and also got into some trouble together as well. ha! He is the type of friend that we don’t speak everyday yet when we do talk, it’s like we never missed a beat. I know I can count on him with everything that this special day comes with.
David - Groomsman
I finally have an actual brother!! David stepped into my family's lives at a later time and yet it was the perfect time we needed him. David (also known as Zuri) is the most thoughtful, bright, and caring guy I know. He is 100% a family man and the day I met him I knew he was going to be a big part of our family. We have stories for days and there’s zero doubt that I want him here with me on our special day as I was with him.
Andrew - Groomsman
The Dreski. Andrew is my earliest friend and yet we are already brothers. In short amount of time that I have known him, we have more stories than I care to remember. We just understand each other so much (if he hasn’t had too much caffeine) and I know that he’s the type of person I can call on, at any time of day or night. Drew, he’s got my back and I got his. He’s my brother!
Ronald - Groomsman
Big Ron! Ronald was one of the first cousins that I grew close to on Precious’ side. We had so much in common so it was easy to hangout, talk crap and just be ourselves. From many holiday gatherings to our annual Yosemite trips, I know I can count on Ronald to be the life of the party especially when I’m tired of being it. He provides for his family in so many ways that I look up to and look forward to do the same with my family as well.
Daniel - Groomsman
Where do I start with Daniel? As many know, my mother’s side of the family is overruled with women. Daniel has always been a guy that I can look up to in our shared world of women. He has looked out for me since the moment I stepped into adulthood. He’s the closest cousin I have and I'm grateful that we share a special bond.
Adrian - Groomsman
Man me and this guy go wayyyyyyy back. Although me and Adrian didn’t start hanging out until about the middle school era, my family and his have been neighbors for as long as I can remember. Me and Adrian have been the closest thing to brothers that I’ve ever had. We fight, butt heads and through it all we have remained tied together with a bond that only brotherhood can explain. Him and his family mean a lot to me.
